Memori
Memories are created to be told
Story
”Memori is a unique blend of 3D platformer and murder mystery genres. Players traverse from one memory to another, unraveling the truth behind a friend’s untimely demise. Assuming the role of the grim reaper, you preside over Limbo, a realm where departed spirits await judgment. Limbo is encompassed by the Void, an empty space devoid of life, save for you. However, one day, you encounter a lost spirit named Venn, trapped within the confines of the Void. Venn seeks your aid in unraveling the mystery surrounding his own death.
Throughout the game, players will delve into the memories of these spirits, piecing together clues to uncover the identity of the murderer. However, each memory is unique, offering only fragments of the truth and not the complete picture. Can you assist Venn in finding closure, allowing him to find peace and enter Limbo?”
Characters
Introducing…
Grimm
”Grimm emerges from the essence that comprises the afterlife, woven from its very dust. His duty involves judging the souls within Part Vitam. However, Grimm finds himself abandoned by his creator, who departed the afterlife, leaving him isolated. Occupying the outermost reaches of Part Vitam, Grimm collects an assortment of trinkets that souls carried with them upon departure.”
Venn
Venn, an early encounter in the story, struggles to navigate beneath the statue of the deity Forel, unable to enter Part Vitam. He suspects his murder in a past life is the cause, yet he grapples with amnesia, unable to recall his identity or the reasons behind the attempted murder. When Venn encounters Grimm, he implores him for assistance in uncovering the truth behind his death and the motives behind it.
Forel
Forel, the deity presiding over the afterlife, awaits the arrival of creatures in Part Vitam, the realm of existence beyond life. Spirits congregate amidst the forests and mountains of this realm, awaiting Forel’s judgment when their time arrives. However, Forel is renowned among other deities for his selfish and indolent nature. Eventually, Forel exemplifies these traits by delegating his responsibilities to Grimm, passing on his work to the newly created entity.”
